If i was to replace 1 meal a day, say lunch, for a shake, how long would it take for me to lose weight? And also i want to go on a diet, im really good with exercise, i exercise everyday but im a very fussy eater therefor i don’t like much. How am i supposed to eat healthy then if i don’t like the diet foods advertisers tell you to eat?

I started using diet shakes at the first of the year, and I have currently lost over ten pounds, and I am still losing. The key to eating healthy is portion control. On the Slim-Fast web site, they have recipes for meals that are good for you, low in calories, and also taste good. My husband even likes some of the recipes there and he isn’t dieting, and is also one of the pickiest eaters I have ever met. You don’t always have to eat “diet food,” you just have to watch your calories and make sure you’re taking in the right balance of nutrients.

As for only replacing one meal a day with a shake, it may take you longer. I replace two meals a day with a shake or meal bar. Doing this it took about two weeks for any change to occur, but I have been steadily losing weight ever since.

Dieting means restricting calories or cutting down on certain food types. Remember that cutting out particular foods can prove to be very dangerous indeed. Always ask questions on matters that may give you reason for concern. Abstaining from certain food types can lead to poor growth and other health problems.

Do not be egged on by the magazine models with pouting lips and bony skeletal frames because, surely by looking at their appearance i.e. no flesh on the body can not hide the fact that they chose to ignore the signs of the dangers of dieting.
